The Mississippi Day of Empathy will be streamed live on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. from the Two Mississippi Museums in Jackson, Mississippi.

"Walk in Our Shoes" will be a day of turning empathy into action and will feature system-impacted advocates from across the state of Mississippi. There will be impact letter readings of letters submitted by currently incarcerated individuals as well as you will hear from speakers ranging from death row survivors, formerly incarcerated, family members of currently incarcerated individuals and more!

Empathy Network advocates and organizers across our nation will seek to explore the role of empathy in changing existing policies and practices in our criminal legal system. By registering for this #DayofEmpathy event, your email will be shared with Dream Corps, the event organizer, and their affiliated organization.
