Road to Restoration Florida Day of Empathy

Directions to event: Directions to Live Event: Take I-75 to Parrish exit, take Moccasin Wallow Road. Travel east to end of Highway 301. Turn right onto Highway 301 and travel south. Cross over railroad tracks and take an immediate left onto SR-62. Travel east approximately 25 miles. The Institution is located on the right, Turn right onto Allapattah Road (institutional property). (Institution is approximately 12 miles west from Hwy-17).

A direct action hybrid rally to introduce the Road to Restoration (R2R) Coalition’s plan to visit all 48 Florida prisons. Starting with Hardee Correctional Institution, the R2R legal team will be asking every lifer (13,000+) to sign a contract to be represented against the State of Florida’s constitutionally illegal life sentence. No longer will ‘life’ mean death.
