✨ Session III: COMMUNITY Engagement Activity and Call-to-Action ✨
If you are looking for practical ways to make a change, this session is for you! We know that those closest to the problem
are closest to the solution, yet furthest away from power and resources. We will close the day with:

🧡 “Stand Up and Be Counted”
At exactly 4:00 pm, in acknowledgment of our brothers and sisters behind federal prison walls, we will stand up for
“count”, being present for and acknowledging those we are fighting for.

🧡 Call-to-Action
We are extending an open invitation for justice-involved community members and allies to join our Empathy Network.

We will take a moment to demonstrate how to get involved.
🧡 3 Point Shootout Contest
Calling all ballers! Come show off your basketball skills for a chance to win a special prize!

Empathy Network advocates and organizers across our nation will seek to explore the role of empathy in changing existing policies and practices in our criminal legal system. By registering for this #DayofEmpathy event, your email will be shared with Dream Corps, the event organizer, and their affiliated organization.
