The War on Drugs has ravaged communities of color for 50 years.

Unjust sentencing disparities between crack & powder cocaine have contributed to the explosion of mass incarceration, disproportionately impacting marginalized communities.

The "Eliminating a Quantifiably Unjust Application of the Law" (EQUAL) Act would simply create 1:1 penalties for crack and powder cocaine, bringing thousands home from prison, and shortening future sentences.

Join us in supporting the EQUAL Act and eliminating this sentencing disparity for good!

Tell your Senator to end the discriminatory crack/powder sentencing disparities, and pass the EQUAL Act.

As your constituent, I urge you to sponsor and support the Eliminating a Quantifiably Unjust Application of the Law (EQUAL) Act, which would eliminate cocaine sentencing disparities and bring more fairness to the federal criminal justice system.

This bi-partisan bill continues the work of the 2010 Fair Sentencing Act and 2018 First Step Act, both of which started to reform the misguided policies of the 1980s that led to the rise of over-incarceration.

We appreciate your support for this important reform. After signing, you'll be directed to our partner, the Last Prisoner Project's petition for federal cannabis clemency.
